Day Seven: Barcelona

Our first full day started in the sun on the beach and after watching the sun set upon Montjuic, it ended late at night under the street lamps of Barcelona!

Early morning sun over the harbor!

First palm trees of the morning!

The beach!!!

BEACH!!!

Did I mention we were at the beach?!

Post beach, we headed to the Picasso Museum, which was free today! The only museum opened while Picasso was still alive, he himself visited it and donated works from his own private collection! When we were finished we found a cafe where we wrote in our journals in the sun!

Spanish hot chocolate is something everyone should experience in their life!

The typical rainforest balcony!!!

We took the cable car across the beach front over to the olympic village on Montjuic!

Palm Trees down below!

Waiting for the cable cars!

The view over to the cable car tower.

Atop Montjuic on our walk to the Olympic village

We stumbled upon the old olympic swimming pool with a gorgeous backdrop of the whole city, but the facilities are sadly falling into disrepair.

Olympic stadium at sunset

Cool Olympic Statue

Montains, Sunset, Olympics!

On our walk back down the mountain!

Montjuic's hillside was covered in gorgeous manicured gardens!

In the garden!

We made it down and found a great restaurant filled with real spaniards, eating real spanish food!

Our Spanish Feast!
