Day Five: Bremen

Bremen is an adorable, but tiny little town, so we moved at a slower pace and really got to enjoy just wandering through the town, spending lots of time going in and out of the quirky shops in the Schnoor Viertel!

We started our day in the main Cathedral in Breman

The use of color, texture and pattern through the Cathedral really set it apart from the many, many other churches I've seen in Europe!

The amazing detail surrounding the organ

Then we headed back to our favorite Schnoor Viertel and found a chocolatier, who had amazing mini-cupcakes with an incredibly rich frosting!!! Yum!

While wandering Schnoor, we happened upon our favorite little cafe and got more torte!

For dinner, we headed to Böttcherstrasse for a hardy German meal! I got specialty Wurst from Bremen, a hunk of meat, and potatoes on a bed of kale, served with mustard!

We spent our last night in Germany discussing politics, philosophy and the universe (and of course the possibility of a multiverse) over our Bremen brewed Beck's Beer!
